Countdown.

Three weeks from today. THREE WEEKS. Until I leave for a semester in Malaga, Spain. It finally felt real last night when I received my host family assignment. As hoped, Shelly and I will be living with the same family. I immediately took the address to Google Earth to "see" it. Technology rocks. I also now have a list of everyone participating in this program and an itinerary for our first weekend in Spain. This is the real deal!
I love to travel and I love Spanish and I love that I have the opportunity to spend a semester embracing both.
I am excited and nervous and learning more every day about what it means to trust God, especially when it comes to something as big as this. I am a planner and I like to have things lined up, but I have no idea what this semester has in store. God does. Thank goodness. I am striving to leave my worries in His hands because He is so much bigger than all of them.
