Freezing in Ronda.

On Saturday, we took a day trip to Ronda. Europe was hitting record lows, so we were absolutely freezing the entire day, but the views were still incredible! We went on a walking tour throughout the city, but I’m pretty sure my brain cells were frozen and incapable of translating Spanish, so I don’t think I got as much out of it as I could have.  Check out this beautiful mountain town!

The Arab baths.
Inside there are 3 rooms.
The cold room, the warm room, and the hot room.
On Saturday, they were all FREEZING rooms.

The bridge connecting the old and new sides of the town across a huge gorge.
Mind you, the new side of town is still like 500 years old.
Ronda was built here because the gorge provided protection.
It seems precariously close to falling into the gorge to me!

Plaza de Toros.
The oldest bullring in Spain that is still standing.
We got a tour of the inside in an attempt to understand this timeless tradition.

Outside the Plaza de Toros with Shelly, Carly, and Tabitha.
